University (Building) was available in Closed beta, but does not exist in the VIP version of the game. The article is being kept for historic purposes. The VIP version of University (Building) can be found here.

This building is researched in the Renaissance Age and replaces your Library as the centre of research. It both speeds up research and unlocks higher levels of researchable items. It is replaced by the Research Facility in the Modern Age.
