Houthakkerskampen allow you to gather hout. They are already researched at the start of the game. In the Classical Age they can be supplemented with zaggerijen and in the Imperial Age logging camps are replaced with coal pits. Both logging camps and sawmills can be built on forest tiles, sawmills may also be built on open and researched "build on" resources. Upgrading a logging camp takes very little time and resources compared to most buildings.
