Forest tiles are located within a settlement and are a requirement to build Logging Camps. A Sawmill can also be built on these tiles if the player has the requirements to build one. If forest construction has been researched, any building can be built on these tiles. After Renaissance Age, Coal Pits can be built on forest tiles instead of logging camps, and in the Modern Age, Aluminum Plants can be built on the tiles.
